Work Life Harmony : Five Apps That I Use To Achieve through Working Smart and Living Well

In today's fast-paced world, technology has become an indispensable tool for managing my life, staying organized, and even improving my well-being. With a myriad of apps available at our fingertips, it can be overwhelming to choose the right ones. To help you navigate the sea of options, here are short reviews of five apps that I use to work smart and live well.

Calm App:

Calm is a meditation and relaxation app designed to help you reduce stress, improve sleep, and enhance mindfulness. With a wide range of guided meditations, breathing exercises, soothing music, and bedtime stories narrated by celebrities like Matthew McConaughey and Stephen Fry, Calm offers something for everyone. The app's sleek interface and customizable features make it easy to incorporate mindfulness practices into your daily routine. Whether you're a seasoned meditator or just starting out, Calm is an invaluable tool for fostering inner peace and tranquility. One of my favorite celebrity features  was a series done by Lebron James on the importance of sleep and of course Jay Shetty’s “Daily Jay”

Google Drive App:

Google Drive is a cloud storage service that allows me to store, access, and share files from any device with an internet connection. The Google Drive app makes it seamless to upload, organize, and collaborate on documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and more. With features like offline access and automatic syncing, I can stay productive even when I am on the go. Whether you're working on a team project or keeping personal files organized, Google Drive is a versatile app that simplifies file management and enhances productivity. I don't even know how people ran businesses before cloud services.

Day One App:

Day One is a journaling app that encourages users to reflect on their thoughts, memories, and experiences. With a clean and intuitive interface, Day One makes it easy to capture moments through text, photos, and even audio recordings. The app's rich features, such as location tagging and weather tracking, add depth to your journal entries and bring your memories to life. Whether you're journaling for self-reflection, creative expression, or simply to preserve precious moments, Day One is a powerful tool for documenting your life's journey.

One of my favorite things about the app are the reminders. What essentially happens is everytime you finish a journal entry for the day, the app automatically shares the entries you did over the years on the same day. I find this to be some a powerful reflection tool.

Sweat App:

Sweat is a fitness app that offers a variety of workout programs designed by top trainers, including Kayla Itsines and Kelsey Wells. From high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to yoga and strength training, Sweat provides comprehensive workout plans tailored to your fitness goals and skill level. With step-by-step instructions, video demonstrations, and progress tracking features, the app helps you stay motivated and accountable on your fitness journey. Whether you're looking to build strength, improve flexibility, or boost your overall health, Sweat offers everything you need to achieve your fitness goals from the comfort of your own home.

I have always been intimidated by the idea of using an app at the gym and just trying  to follow the sequence of workouts on most apps but SWEAT has honestly changed my life. I have never felt more in control of my gym life.

Audible App:

Audible is an audiobook service that allows users to listen to a vast library of books on the go. With bestsellers, classics, and original content spanning every genre imaginable, Audible offers something for every literary taste. The app's user-friendly interface and customizable playback options make it easy to find and enjoy audiobooks wherever and whenever you want. Whether you're commuting, exercising, or simply relaxing at home, Audible transforms idle moments into opportunities for learning and entertainment.

In conclusion, these five apps - Calm, Google Drive, Day One, Sweat, and Audible - offer invaluable tools for enhancing various aspects of my work and living well pursuits, from mindfulness and productivity to fitness and entertainment.

By incorporating these apps into your daily routine, you can streamline tasks, foster personal growth, and make the most of your work life harmony objectives. Enjoy!
